  1. Choose and order

    Cabinets, counters, fixtures and appliances are picked and ordered before tear-out, so demolition lines up with deliveries instead of leaving an empty room for weeks.

  2. Open it up

    Cabinets and counters are removed, walls open only where the plan calls for it, and wiring, water lines and drains shift to suit the new layout.

  3. Set, template, trim

    Cabinets are hung and leveled, counters are templated from them, then backsplash, lighting and trim. A walkthrough closes it out, with any touch-ups listed and completed.
